The water hole
I took L out for a stroll in her new buggy this morning - I say stroll as the temperature was in the mid twenties and very, very pleasant. This view is of the rather depleted water feature in the golf course opposite my son's house - in fact their house is in the picture . I liked the reflected mountain range and token palm tree and not for the first time thought to myself how fortunate they are to have such a pleasant outlook given that Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert.
During the daytime I have been mesmerised by the giant crickets which are everywhere and I hear their chatter constantly. I have never been aware of these flying creatures on previous visits.
Thank you so much for sending baby L and her quilted cocoon to the Spotlight yesterday - it was really nice to see her there.
