I had big plans of making this morning a 'mommy-Miles' day....but it almost didn't happen because both Miles and I have the patience of a 2 year old right now. But we worked it out ;) And I took Miles on a train ride and on the way back we stopped by a nature trail to go for a 'hike' and watch for animals. Our little adventure took all morning but we got home in time for lunch and a nap. When we woke up Dad took us to the school so Miles could play basketball, football, baseball and soccer. And yes he played every sport as well as ran around the track twice. Yet he still had the energy to drive us a little crazy tonight. Some sayings of the day:
"You can't tell me what to do, you're not a teacher!"
"But I wanted tacos! Dragons like tacos!"
And repeatedly saying the words "doo-doo" and "poop"
But we still had a great day with beautiful Portland weather. We are now watching the Lego Movie and Miles keeps telling us it's his 'special mommy daddy day' Now that things are prepped for the girls arrival, I want to have as much quality time with Miles as I have energy for these days. I know I will miss my days with just my first born.
