Newsham Park - Hospital???

Liverpool Arts Festival

What an amazing building; such character and magnificence despite the peeling paint and rudimentary heating/lighting. Old hospital beds, curtain rails, corridor signs and even commodes left behind from its previous existence.

I found it quite an emotional experience to see how the building is being given a new lease of life in such a vibrant and imaginative way. The eclectic art works looked perfectly at home in this fantastic place.
