Treasures

Follow up appointment at the hospital for Monkey today - the consultant wasn't there but his deputy was more than happy and we don't have to go back. Yay!

Quick trip to mothercare to get some 6-9 month long sleeved vests and babygrows as Monkey is growing fast then off to see our financial advisor as we'll get quite a slice of cash when the fella's house sells. Even more important to get things in order now we have Monkey. Good meeting and we're in a good place - planning an extension with some of the money and investing the rest. Mum and dad kindly babysat while we went - they're smitten so it wasn't difficult to ask! Then popped to see the fella's parents - unfortunately by this point monkey was so tired she was a bit grizzly!

Finally back home after a long day for a chill out. Really love being with my little family.

O and the pic is of Monkey's treasure basket - a growing collection of items for her to explore (mainly by putting in her mouth). Her favourites at the moment are a space blanket and a metal whisk! Looks like she's going to be a runner and a cook.
