Helping Hands!

Was walking with the club on the Darn Road today; From Bridge of Allan to Dunblane and then back..... along the Allanwater.

It was a lovely walk, and when we got to Dunblane we had some time to visit the Cathedral and have a look around the village, which is really lovely. Also saw the golden postbox for Andy Murray from the Olympic Games.......

Some of the pathways were rather muddy, and as there has been a lot of rain recently, the stepping stones on this burn were unfortunately under water and made for a rather slippy crossing....... but we all made it.

We were lucky with the weather as we had sunshine all day until we were in the pub, when it started to rain heavily...... but did we care?

And home to home made Chicken Soup, then slow cooker meal of gigot chops, potatoes, carrots and onions...... tasted great!
