Cake!

We went on a trip to visit all of our new neighbours this morning to introduce ourselves. They were all very friendly. A couple of hours later one of them came over with thus delicious homemade cake. I was. Bit overwhelmed with how kind and thoughtful it was of her. An feeling very fortunate to have moved somewhere so friendly.
We went and bought new bedroom furniture this morning and Ella was very well behaved in the shop. This evening we've taken Ella to her first firework display in the village which was lovely. Ella really enjoyed the first 10 minutes, asking for more, before she got a bit scared and we headed home. I was surprised at how brave she was as I expected her to cry at the first firework and had said to Adam we shouldn't go; but Ella often proves me wrong!!
