Christmas Shopping

Last year's Christmas toy,
Amazingly still intact,
Topical penguin!

I do most of my Christmas, well any, shopping online these days. But I had a chance to visit Marks and Sparks today so I took it.

Stella stayed at Granny's house with her penguin.

Yes I've seen the John Lewis ad; yes I've seen that the penguin toy is a mystifying £95; yes I still prefer last year's ad but maybe only because I prefer last year's song, and yes I have had a peek at @JohnLewis on Twitter who's comebacks to those that think he's @JohnLewisRetail are both eloquent and hilarious!

We made it home just before the dreaded fireworks started so Stella is now snoring on the sofa. Some of them are getting drowned out by the rain!
