Different priorities

We are spending the weekend with friends near Yeovil, together with another couple. The menfolk were friends very many years ago, in the Church youth club.
Saturday morning saw the boys deciding to stay by the fire reading the papers, then they wandered down to the local pub , then watched rugby on TV.
Their wives meanwhile went to Clarks Shopping Village in Street, where Christmas shopping was in full swing. I am not a natural shopper, in fact I usually hate it but today, with encouragement, I came home laden! "That really suits you!" they said, and then "I bought one of those for my family and they loved it!" My Christmas shopping is under way!
