Memories...

...are not only created through the big things like holidays, Christmases and birthdays, but by the little day to day things that mark family life and their relevance is only understood by the family themselves. Shared jokes and memories that once recalled bring back whole scenes of past family life. I could describe many, but today we moved the sofa from the 'garage' to the boys' house in Bethnal Green. It was a poignant symbol of continuity - a part of well loved 'home' deposited 50 miles away.
I'm just glad it's finally out of the garage and I can start working on my new studio! (I also got out of lifting the damn thing)!
