Spent much of the day closely looking at the weather forecast and trying to find webcams showing the seafront at Weston...

the plan had been to go to the carnival. I've never been to see any of the Somerset carnivals and from what I know (there is a carnival club based on our site at work) they are quite an event!!!

But the consensus seemed to be that standing out in the probable rain wasn't going to be much fun so plan B was put into action. The Cornubia is a fine pub with some good beers, followed by dinner at Marcos (way WAY too much spaghetti...)
