The view with complaint (s)
Well, this is a whole lot bigger surgery than I had imagined... The brain has not returned to anything like full functioning. But I thought I should try to send out a blip to all my blip friends.
After consuming way too strong pain drugs, I have enjoyed many hours of high quality hallutionations... I could write of the unusual discovery I made of the hidden under ground world going on that came up to visit me during the night. Finally at about 1:00 a.m. I awoke and recognized I was (mostly) in the hospital... not my room, but eventually someone pointed out that I have always been in this room. Since I have had a spinal replacement-- I am Not walking ANYWHERE without a minder, a brace, and loads of equipment. Since surgery (referred to as a BIG surgery by the doctors), I have been getting a reputation...
This little note has taken about an hour to type... very poor brain/hand coordination-- and brain-brain coordination too.
Other than uncontrolled hallutionations, I am doing quite well-- post-op. We will begin PT/OT exercises soon as a bed in the other wing opens. Nobody seems to want to go home and leave. First snow fell last night. *sigh* so, I just circle in a holding pattern, waiting to land on the next empty bed. The move could be on monday morning.
Since I recline here without camera I have not much to blip. { Could be titled: 'Blippless in Binghamton'} This is a cropped previously blipped, knackered woodlot.
Gives you an image of the ripped and repairing spine today.
Alas, now the pain pills are overcoming my brain functioning, such as it is... so, I will just thank everyone for the prayers, good thoughts, and support. I'm off to that parallel reality in the catacombs beneath Binghamton ...
