"Kip on a Ship"

My blip is courtesy of N today... he spent last night sleeping on HMS Belfast with the Year 4 children and staff from his school.

This morning they all lined up on deck to watch The Lord Mayor's Flotilla pass by... what a special place to watch it from. Apart from the sailors giving their salute, the school trip were the only other people on deck.

You can see that Tower Bridge has been raised to let them through and The Lord Mayor of London is travelling on Queen's Barge the Gloriana (which was built for the jubilee in 2012).

I went up to meet them at the end of the trip and all the staff went for well-deserved brunch before heading home to sleep!
