Arriving at speed

I was wandering around high on the sun deck, thinking what I might blip.

Paul, one of the entertainers, was taking an aquarobics class, and I managed a shot from behind him. A good action shot.

I took a photo of the assembled ladies squashed in the splash pool.

It was 32 degrees and my camera kept steaming up. It's still marvellous.

We are well along the length of The Red Sea now, off the coast of Eritrea and heading for Djibouti. Some shipping but most of it at a distance.

I was just relaxing when I saw this rather battered ship in the distance. A small craft was heading in our direction at speed.

As a Blipper, of course I took photos as it approached.

The little craft came alongside. I looked down, half hoping expecting to see the water cannons pointed in its direction.

But no. The two guys headed back to the mothership.

Apparently they were bringing more gear for our commandos and security team.

Tonight we will be darkened after sunset but the Captain tells us we are allowed on the outside top deck as it will be by the light of the full moon.
