A dress fit for a princess

Worn 17 years ago today.

On Kariba's 5th birthday she was the flower girl for her Nana's wedding to a wonderful man, Art. This dress was made for the occasion but her other grandmother. Kariba looked gorgeous as did her Nana. The wedding cake was two tiers - the top tier was chocolate with candles and was Kariba's cake.

Art is no longer with us but it was good to think about him today on a day full of special memories. Happy 22nd Birthday to the beautiful tall young woman who will always be my gorgeous little princess. Lovely to skype you last night while you opened your gifts. xxxxx
