Fading

The light was already so dim today, but at four it seemed to fade even more. I caught a glimpse, and a quick shot, of My Tree through the car window on the way to Kalamazoo for groceries. She doesn't do much autumn splendour - she also just sort of fades, into winter mode.

The Beloved brought home a surprise gift that I will be giving some TLC over the weekend, and then hopefully ... well, I'm keeping that a surprise myself :)
