eagle and the hawk

Another day, another decision. Do I post the sharply focused shot of the bald eagle or do I post the shot that tells a story. Well, here is the story shot. I went out to find the Eagle Parents(we were watching them this summer because they had a baby in the nest about ready to fly). He (the baby) flew off with the parents about a month ago. Anyway, I spotted one of the adult eagles, I think it is Dad (but don't quote me), and above him this red tail hawk was circling and sweeping down above him. He (the eagle) was completely ignoring the hawk and eventually he (the hawk) flew off to the west. Probably a smart move!!! Anyway, the baby didn't return with the parents but that is another story....I will explain it later.
