Beauty and the Beast

I was recently told about a rare 1960s concrete church located in the ex-mining village of Bagworth, whose future it seems is uncertain. Despite the miserable weather, I headed out there keen to take a blip before it becomes consigned to the history books. At first sight everything about it screams ugly beast and yet, after walking around taking blips in the deserted church yard, I felt it also possessed a kind of forlorn beauty.. So here is my blip for today, Bagworth Church at Holy Rood. :)
