Sand sculptures

Kaz, Spencer and I went down to the beach this morning. It was overcast but not cold. We hadn't put our bathers on, planning on playing in the sand. We made some sandcastles together for a while then Kaz and Spence went down to the water and I decided to build a 'couch' for them! It was so much fun! It brought back memories of growing up and going to the beach and making sand sculptures!

Spence and Kaz came back up the beach and Spence loved the couch! I had put sandcastles around it as well, he sat down then wanted Mummy Kaz to sit with him! Just after that Mum came down and Spence said 'Grandma couch', so Kaz got off and Grandma sat down! We played with that for a while then made some turtles and fish as well.

Later in the day when Spence went down for his sleep, Kaz and I went and had fish n chips for lunch then went to a friend's house and played games! It was great to have some 'grown up' time!

Back home tomorrow then back to work Monday.
