Birds and poppies

Having ignored the weather forecast and walked to the station in rain, I was so pleased to arrive at the Tower of London at 8.00 am to be greeted to good dawn light, and a relatively small crowd who had come to see the poppies.

It is a sight worth seeing, and people seem to whisper in reverence. In amongst the man-made poppies it was good to see some of God's creatures!
