Shield Bugs Galore

I'm not keen on these bugs as they actually can spray you with a smelly liquid and they do also bite! But as Toto brushed past a big tree today I suddenly noticed all the bugs started running around nervously and I quickly got him away with no harm done!

Then I tied him up to the fence and started taking photos, as you do, because they are quite interesting to look at. These were quite well camouflaged against the tree bark when they didn't move and had fascinating patterns on their backs.
