The streets of Old Delhi

Wandering around the streets of Old Delhi was an assault on all of our senses.. The most memorable was the spice market near chandni chowk. With sacks of powdered spices everywhere the aromas were strong. Sudden coughing fits and watery eyes were not uncommon to even the local's. Spices were being bought by the ton it seemed, as hand carts were busy pulling and pushing the spices to awaiting vans on the street. Old Delhi is not for the weak.
