My appreciation to bravery
This is part of the November Challenge - Thursday Thanks host by chantler63.
I walk by this memorial frequently. It is a memorial to the fire fighters who valiantly fought and rescued people following the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in New York. Even though the memorial is in Colorado, several fire fighters from this area were part of the NYFD at the time of the attack. A few died in the towers when they fell, and a few have died since of cancer and other health related issues. I am so appreciative of their courage and perseverance.
My Thursday Thanks go to the brave men and women of our fire departments who risk their lives daily to save ours. Thank you!
Note: I have blipped this memorial several times. Each blip focused on a different aspect of the memorial. They include The Little Girl and Tributes and Memorials and also Red Tailed Hawk.
Thank you for your wonderful comments, stars and favs on yesterdays bridge. I deeply appreciate them!
