Autumn has arrived

The signs that autumn has well and truly arrived can no longer be ignored now that not only the leaves have changed colour but the temperature has started to drop as well, especially in the evening.

A large part of the public transport was on strike today, so to make certain that I'd be able to get there on time and home again, I decided to ride my bicycle to work, which went quite well but I wouldn't want to do it every day.

A big thank you for all the comments and stars on yesterday's gull blip, but also for the kind words on the difficult situation with mum, which I'm still trying to come to terms with.
