Tram Ride

I had my first ever ride on an Edinburgh Tram this morning, on my way to a 'Third Sector' conference kindly hosted by the Royal Bank of Scotland at their Gogarburn Headquarters

Here we see the approach to Gogarburn Tram Stop, viewed through the glass partition that separates the front passenger compartment from the Driver's cab.

The journey reminded me that the last time I took a ride on a tram was in another major world city, about a couple of years ago. Although there was much in common, the two experiences were not entirely similar.
