Achnacloich, Isle of Skye

My phone at least is waterproof, more than can be said for my work wear today. To be clear my kit is all good quality but the reality is absolutely nothing keeps you dry on a day like this.
The only variation in the weather was that the rain notched up to really torrential driving in the wind stuff then wound back down to constant down pour.
We had measurements to get on the opposite side of the river and I got them all at the start of the shift. Subjectively the water appeared to rise a foot in the day. A PM crossing would have been almost impossible.
