"Feed me..."

"...just ignore the notice, OK... look, I am...."

There a two ponies in the field just round the corner from us, and their field is right next to the road past the reservoir. They are very appealing ponies - so people pat them and feed them, so much so that the owner has put a notice in the field, to wit:

"These ponies are well fed and not hungry, but they will accept any food that is offered to them. However too much food, including apples and carrots, will make them fat and unhealthy so PLEASE DO NOT HAND FEED THE PONIES OR THROW FOOD INTO THE FIELD ".
Don't think the ponies agree...
