Being daft!

I mentioned to my son that I hadn't taken a photo today and he came up with this solution - and pulled a silly face as I took the photo!

I cooked a lovely gammon roast for lunch which we all enjoyed. Then this afternoon I was on the phone to my Dad for an hour. He listens to lots of audio books and was telling me about the Agatha Christie autobiography that he'd just finished. She led a very adventurous life going on archaeological digs in the Middle East with her second husband apparently, which is obviously how she got the inspiration for stories like "Death on the Nile". I must admit that I've never read one of her books, though I have heard of the famous ones.

A very grey uninspiring day today, so I stayed indoors! Very cold too.
