Rue de La Vrillière

After exploring the Jardin du Palais Royal, we were shown some of the ancient covered Passages and Galleries in the streets that surrounded the area. Faded Grandeur and past elegance abounded. The tour was in French and so we missed some of the more risqué jokes that our Top Hatted Guide peppered his talk with. Luckily we had Marion Stephen with us and as a Paris girl herself, she was often able to beat him to the punchlines.
