Sunshine on Bruges

Today we walked round the most of the perimeter of the old city along the side of the canal which separates the old city from the new. It was good to get away from the main tourist areas and had just cyclists and runners for company. There was a brief shower and we took shelter in a quaint wee restaurant/'tea room' with a beautiful view and had coffee and apple pie, well it is my birthday today so a good excuse for a treat!

Our last night in Bruges tonight and I think we may go back to the lovely restaurant we ate at on our first night and tonight we might try the fondue!
