Looking for a beautiful pea-green boat and a cat

Went to St Mary's Lighthouse today and saw a short-eared owl fly out to sea! It was so close. Then it wasn't- as you can see from the picture.

If you look very carefully at the left of the picture, you will see it flying inland away from the gulls.

I had such a scrabble for my camera because I was all trussed up in a padded coat and gloves. Not really suitable attire for quick camera shots. That wind was cold enough to take your face off! I have turned soft as a result of the lovely weather we've been having.
