Heroes don't wear capes, they wear Dog Tags

Remembrance day is, of course, the focal point of the first world war armistice and 'Poppy Day' when we remember all of those that have fallen in all combats. We should remember them all year around but I do think it's important that we have this commemoration annually.

We remember it all year around because of Marlanes' Uncle, Daniel Hutchinson who was killed during a bombing raid on Cologne 27 November 1944. I get an 'In Remembrance' cross and Marlane makes the plastic label. His Sister, my favourite Mother in Law, puts the cross on my Father in Law's grave and then, when she next visits another daughter in Holland, they go to Rheinburg to put the cross on Daniels grave.
Of the 100+ Bombers in the raid Daniels Lancaster was the only one lost that night.
