It's that day again. Interesting how we constantly reinvent Guy Fawkes. In reality a plotter in what would have been a massively violent coup d'etat to restore Catholic control of the country, the trading of one religious persecution for another, but such is the desperation, the growing realisation of who and what our political "masters" are, the lack of hope in our bought and paid for "democracy", that anyone who intended to blow the whole pack of them skywards becomes a hero and a symbol. Alan Moore's vision of anarchist revolution seems to strike a chord with growing numbers, me included. Not able to attend the "Million Mask March" in London today I contented myself with watching the RT live feed, what struck me most was the aggressive policing, rank after rank of riot geared lines, at one point a couple of demonstrators shouted a few slogans into the door of a Macdonalds...instantly ten police, batons at the present filled the doorway ....can't have our corporate owners intimidated can we, it seemed to sum it all up rather well.
