Exhaust

One of the last chances this time: a look at the power turbine of the gasturbine of unit EC 6.
Next week it will be running and on the grid again.
In the back (lit by a inspection lamp) the last row of blades of the gasturbine (the power side), before that the thermocouples which measure the exhaust temperature (guarded by a red/white ribbon to prevent them from people that might stumble over them).
In the middle the part that houses lubricating oil piping and the bearing nr 2.
At each corner there are some sturdy guide vanes that direct the exhaust gasses the right way. (about 640 deg C.)
