Aspire

A spire without a church... There's got to be a proper story here but I've not learnt it yet. Still, majestic in the early sun.

Ok, so Wikipedia is my friend. This is St Andrews Tower or the Glover's Needle. The church was demolished in the late 1940s after years of decay.
