Nice to be walking home from the station with fireworks going off all around. Reminded me of when we used to have bonfire parties in the field at the back of our house when I was a little girl. All the houses that backed onto the field joined in, and I can remember my mum making cheese topped baked potatoes to eat. And the fireworks being kept in a biscuit tin to stop sparks setting them off. And going out the next day to look for where the rockets had landed.

I've probably remembered it all wrong - no doubt my siblings on blip will tell me otherwise!
