The Shard

Up to London today to look at the poppies at the Tower of London, staying at a near by hotel for the night.
Arriving late in the afternoon on an overcast day ,we left a visit to the tower for another day and it was difficult to get a good view of the poppies because of the crowds,instead we had a walk around St Katharine dock and a free ride up the Shard to the 32 floor.
Tomorrow hopefully the crowds at the tower will be less, and we can get a good look before leaving for Manchester.
