I like to pretend that I'm a gardener so, every month, I buy a copy of Gardeners World magazine. I don't read very much of it; by the time I'm half way through I'm doing little more than simply looking at the pictures.

However, I do like the article very month by this writer; sometimes he has something amusing or witty to say, other times he can be quite profound and there are some occasions when there is a blatant double-entendre and I have to re-read it thinking 'did he really say that?' And then there are months like November when what he says is nothing special. But, by the time I realised that this month's comment was, quite frankly, a little dull, it was too late. I had already decided to use it as today's blip.
