Bah humbug part 2

So having barely managed to acknowledge Hallowe'en last week, this week we've singularly failed on the firework front. Oops.

I belatedly decided to at least make a meal fitting for bonfire night - sticky chicken followed by toffee apple cake. Only I left it too late to actually get the toffee sauce made. So it was just apple cake really... and particularly unphotogenic apple cake at that.

Next year. I'll crack it next year.
