Hobbling

Hobbled to work, then hobbled to the NHS walk in clinic as I was almost in tears due to the pain in my foot.

Good news is they don't think it's a stress fracture, so is 'just' a ligament sprain. BUT if it gets worse or still hurts in a week I'm to get the doctor to send me off for an xray.

Only I got told off for using crutch by the nurse at the walk in centre - I explained that I was using it so I could walk normally but taking the weight off my foot rather than limping and I was only using it for the long walk from tram to office the rest of the time I hobble without. I know enough about ligament injuries to know that I have to keep the area moving *sigh* surely its better for me to use it to aid walking as normally as possible rather than limping that will put more stress on other areas!

Anyway mega painkillers make for a very tired mouse so I think it's time for shower and then bed.
