Tomorrow it is the 6:th of november. Here in Sweden we eat a pastry called Gustaf Adolfs pastry on the 6:th of november, the death day of king Gustaf Adolf the Great. This king died 1632, he was shot in Lutz, Germany.
This pastry is made by my colleague, as she does every year! It tasted perfect, even the king tasted perfect ( he lies on the top of the pastry and he is made by marzipan and "blood" all around him).
