Vertical Landing

The wood pigeon has got his landing on the feeder down to fine art now. He sits on the fence just above the feeder, launches off and grabs the support rail on the feeder with both feet, then allows the lower leg to slide down the support whilst using his wings to maintain balance, reduce the movement of the feeder and to push him into the bottom part of the feeder under the water bowl.
