Star Trail
For a while now, I've wanted to attempt this photograph. I finally had a night without clouds that I figured would make for a decent picture. There are a couple different ways of going about this. Camera was set on a tripod on my balcony, 30 second exposure, with a pencil eraser duct taped to hold my shutter down I let the camera sit for a little over an hour. Came back to check the progress of my first attempt only to find out my memory card had filled after only 7 photos. So I refocused and set it back up again letting it take 110 photos. And with a little post photoshop work and a massive file, this is the end piece. I do look forward to trying this again in different locations further from town with a more interesting landscape.
Disclaimer: if you're going to attempt, you will need ATLEAST an hour of clear skies and most importantly PATIENCE while working with your photoshop file.
