Kingfisher karma

This little fella decided it would be a great idea to fly into our lounge window this afternoon and nearly knocked himself out cold.

Quickly grabbing my phone I captured this blip and reminded the little fella that he was free to go so long as he/her refrained from continuous calling out to his/ her mate at 5am in the morning from now on.

It astounds me the discipline these birds have with their continuous calling and nesting behaviour.

With that said he gathered his thoughts and flew off with hast grateful he met me and not the neighbours cat.
