Old friends meet again

36 years ago, in Timaru, we met new friends who had moved to NZ for 2-3 years to work and to explore our country. Their first son was born in NZ.

Through work, Round Table and sport we became close friends so were very sad when they moved back to the UK.

For several years after that, B would drop in to stay with us for a weekend on work trips to NZ or Australia.

Since year 2000 or so, we have all managed to meet up: in Shanghai, Athens, Northampton and the Cotswalds.

With good pals it is always the same - we just "click" and we pick up where we left off. That is great.

So thanks B & C for having us to stay with you in Birmingham.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very impressed with your city.
