After the rain

A what a rain we had last night. The district tweet claimed it was over 90mm. In the morning it turned out some of the creeks up here had taken to the streets, our high school closed for the day, some of the classrooms in our elementary school also flooded, many basements down the street and in other areas flooded.

Looking at the photos from last night, the kids could have easily canoed to their high school. Apparently there's been lots of people working really hard last night and today as tomorrow the school will fully resume. Some rooms are out of use but they will accommodate. Kudos.
