A long way down, and over....

This is the suspension bridge that connects St.Ignace and Macinaw City, Michigan. It's 26, 372 feet long, the longest suspension bridge in the Western hemisphere., and base Lake Michigan on one side, and Lake Huron on the other. Note how small the bus looks .
We were on the ferry to Macinac Island when I took this. Macinac is absolutely worth the trip but I chose this shot for today.
