Canada - Niagara Falls
A wonderful day of one of the biggest touristic attractions of Canada.
And one I was really looking forward to.
So we took the King tour towards the falls.
But first we went ice wine tasting. At 11 0'clock in the morning..
We had never heard of ice wine.. But apparently Canada is famous for this special wine. The grapes are handed picked after three days of freezing cold. Which gives this wine its very sweet taste (and extreme high sugar levels).
After the tasting we drove on to the picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake, where we had lunch.
Within the hour we were back in the King bus, which was finally taking us to the great Niagara Falls of Canada. The better view of the Falls.
And instead of doing what everybody does, we decided to walk towards the falls.
Standing near this wonder of nature it is easy to wonder where all the water comes from. It is amazing to hear and feel the falls.
We wanted to go even closer, so we did the 'Behind the falls experience'.
Hence this happy, happy picture of us. Soaking wet.
