Mono Monday .....

Old and New.

I wanted to get both the Mono Monday and the November Theme challenge (anything macro) in today, so I searched my coin bank for some old coins.

As I was looking through them I got excited when I found some dating from the last 1960's, which is the decade I was born. And then I found a wheat penny from 1945 (it's the penny on the right).

I kept looking.......

And found one dated 1939!! Since that's the same year that my favorite movie (Gone With the Wind) was released, I had to use this one!

The newest penny I could find was date 2013.
