Cormorant Tree

Tide and seasons turn,
The Winter visitors come,
To survey their realm.

.......When the weather gets colder the cormorants come inland to feast on freshwater fish for a change. They colonise the gaunt trees and become part of the landscape with their ancient shapes.

...This morning I was chasing the fast disappearing mist when I saw them in my favourite nearly dead tree ... now I know the season really has changed .
