What do you do when you just don't agree?
Collective worship tomorrow at the excellent St Cedd's. It's the 5th November, remember, remember, but I couldn't bear to talk about Guy and the "blow them all to bits" solution, or the hung, drawn and quartered & burned to death counter-solution, so it'll have to be the excellent David McKee book, Two Monsters. A real classic on seeing things differently.
Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don't see things the way you do. And don't jump all over them every time they do or say something you don't agree with—even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department. Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Rom 14.
So let's agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words; don't drag them down by finding fault. 2 Cor 13.
